Your side of the story: I, Swigs, have been banned from both the discord and ss13. For perhaps making some inconsiderate, Instigating and funny jokes are remarks about Two individuals, Yaki, and the great host, Terra. I have made jokes and memes, making remarks on Yaki being a furf.... ,furry as a joke, and him taking advantage of his position as admin in game, and criticizing him for it. I also called Terra a "Sooky Lala" "Knob Jockey" and among other things in the NATO Phonetic Alphabet, all in good fun and as a joke, when He came to yaki's defense on the internet, when told to stop i did it with gaul and a funny remark, and was banned anyway (for the gaul and funny remark). I then took to AuStation, and after playing for a bit, (and not having Terras tag), made an ahelp, in which Terra responded, and we exchanged funny remarks until i said ""Terra loves yaki so much they're in a gay relationship, ss13 admins never change" and then which resulted in this:



Why you think you should be unbanned: I apologize for offending anyone and everyone, i was only joking, in the future i will try to be more considerate, and perhaps a bit more nicer when making well deserved criticism on people for stuff they do in-game, i would expect the same in return, and when Terra tells me to stop because i am getting on his nerves, i will stop. I think a perma'd ban is a bit too far, for what has transpired, and also is super unbiased and fair, because the banning admin "technically" handled their own ticket, like Mr Daikyu said "Probably shouldn't be banned for that, especially since it seems like the banning admin handled their own 'ticket', thus not providing an unbias decision. Another admin should have handled it if it really was a problem. Then again, not entirely sure continuing to berate the banning admin is the best way to get unbanned but good luck champ.", I also probably of not egged Terra on in Admin Pm too, and finally i would like to note that the last time i did something bad and rule-breaking was in Mid-August = a long time or something (Check the forums or whatever) I've been a really good boy. And in this situation i was only mucking around, and not actually breaking any rules, in the ss13 server (considering it is sandbox) and maybe i could get the rule 0 in the discord and get removed, cause i never really did anything there anyway. But yeah. Ok, I just wanna say this off the bat. Your jokes arent funny man. They're not offensive or hurtful, or at least I dont find them to be such, but thats because I'm not the target, and even then I've heard way worse and way funnier. They're not "in poor taste" or ruffling our feathers in any way. The jokes aren't funny, as in they aren't witty, well-written jokes or shitposts. YOU aren't funny dude.
"Terra loves yaki so much they're in a gay relationship, ss13 admins never change " - there's literally no joke here. What am I supposed to laugh at? "haha gay relationships, that's not gods way!" is that the part I'm supposed to find funny, or am I missing something?
Also, You constantly switch your story up to whatever paints you in a good light, and Terra and yaki in a bad one. Starting with your old ban appeal, you constantly said that you've been banned, punished, for an opinion, then, in the same appeal, you claim that they're jokes, a trend you continue with in this appeal. You can't be a pimp and a prostitute too. Either say it's an opinion, own up to it, and then keep it to yourself, or apologise when you realise that someones taken your joke the wrong way, to make sure that there's no miscommunication. Jokes aren't a shield you can use to bully people and act like a total moron, and then hide behind when people tell you to fuck off.
And that was why Terra banned you. Because you were bullying a member of the community, and it was made very clear that nobody else thought that you were joking, or that you were funny. Because if you really were joking instead of being an asshole, you would have taken the L instead, and said sorry, because you would have known that you weren't being censored, you were being told that people aren't enjoying what you were saying, and were finding you obstructive and annoying.
That was why you were banned from the discord. For harassing other members of the community. You were banned from the SS13 server because you came there to continue to harrass the same people you got banned from the discord for harrasing. I don't know if you know this, but harrassing another member of the community is actually against the rules on both servers.
You know the actual funny part. If you could just admit that you were being an asshole, that you understand what you did wrong, you'd probably be unbanned without much hassle, It wouldn't be nearly as "Herculean" as you describe it (Hercules had 12 labours by the way but sure), is that you've made it very clear that you dont understand what you did wrong, and you're not sorry, which means that you'll probably do it again. Why would the owner of a server personally invite someone he doesnt like back onto his server, like inviting a bad dinner guest who broke all your plates back to do it again.
Honestly, a better analogy for these ban appeals is sisyphean. You keep trying to roll the stone up the hill but its obvious to everyone else that it wont work, and why it wont work, but you keep trying the same method anyway, and you wouldnt even be in this situation if you hadn't decided that you didn't want to listen to the laws set out by those who keep everything in order. In sisyphus' case, his folly was thinking that the gods could be tricked and that death would be cheated. In your case, a lot less interestingly, you decided that it would be a good idea to continue being an asshole to the admin, who wasnt offended by what you said, but found it distasteful because none of it was original or funny, and then the owner, who wasnt going to let someone be such an outrageous asshole to their friend. And then, like sisyphus, who was actually offered a place in the greek version of heaven, but still chose futile labour for the chance of being able to continue his past behaviors (ie immorality), you chose, instead of making an actual ban appeal and showing us that you knew what you did was wrong, to make two poorly written and unfunny appeals.

Wow, i'm dumbfounded, amazed, bedazzled. Amazing Edgar. It was very good up until the image, in which you get 10+ cringe-points for, but nonetheless, really good analysis, superb critique. Now that i look at it, instead of feigning ignorance, or denial, I'll take some responsibility, i'll be for real, no Swigs headcase, none of it, I agree with alot of your points, and i disagree with a few. But lets clarify between when im talking about, the Joke, and the Opinion. This whole thing started, because i said "furries stinky and revolting. ". In which i do, for personal reasons, in my opinion i have extreme disdain for them, which i understand thats quite unfair, on a certain some, but thats just the what i think of em. Terra told me to basically be quiet, and if i didn't, i'd get a ban. I was a smart-ass about it, and i would say fairly got the ban-hammer. In the sole incident, the only thing i said which even fits the description of "bullying" was "yaki v insanegame" (also insanegame is actually pretty fucked up so i have no idea why i would make that comparison). What i actually was responding to was Terra, saying "i dont care if they are a furry", Terra was actually talking to Sips about dissing yaki, if anything, but i wont deny i have been guilty of throwing some shade at yaki, most recently due to them suiciding as antag, which kinda rubbed me the wrong way, and alot of other people too, but we wont get into that, but i wont deny i have gave em too much shit for it, in an an unfair way. I'll agree, my jokes aren't funny, towards the people im making jokes about, 100% you're right, if anything, i'm taking the piss outta people, and sometimes i go very over the top, and sometimes i get a bit heated, but very rarely do i have any animosity towards the people im making jokes about, sure i dont like certain people, especially furries, so instead, i make jokes (about them) and memes. And i can understand people can get very tired of it. I wont doubt, my reaction during both my discord, and ss13 ban was very Galatians 4:16 of me, in so "i have become your enemy by telling you the truth", in that i was skirting the bounds of Terra, and the rules, and i wont deny that i knew what i was doing and did it anyway, and when it happens, i was irritated. In hindsight, i should of taken the time to cool off an apologize, but its kinda hard apologizing for something that goes against your beliefs, i mistook the apology as "apologize for your opinion" which is kinda like asking a Muslim to say "apologize for believing in allah, shadamuta.". I now see it was "apologize for your behavior, and treatment of others", yeah sure i don't like yaki, but i know it doesn't mean i shouldn't go out of my way to make it known. As for the Greek mythology analogy, was interesting, learnt something, and was well structured. (I aint too greek savyy). But, ill equate myself to Samuel from the bible in which he came to Saul in Israel, and spread the word and wrath of God, for what Saul did and not punishing King Agag for his deception. Even tho Samuel had Saul denounced as King, so fair bring Gods will upon his people, and saving them from concept and suffering, as he did in Egypt. God still never gave Samuel what he sought for, and even after all that he did, he was still disappointing in him. His mistake was his Arrogance and Self-Righteousness. He thought because he was doing gods work, that he was better than God, that he was better than those around him, above him and below him, and used it as an excuse and a justification for what he did. Sure Samuel may be right, he may be doing good things, but he did bad things too, because of his arrogance and self-righteousness. And ill agree, i am complacent in that too. Sure i gave my opinion, but i knew i was being a shit about it, not with animosity, but with just more like a poke at the bear, and then when people had enough of it, i cried bloody Mary, and used excuses and deception. It also probably wasn't the best idea to berate Terra in the appeal, but in those appeals, i really was more focused in why i was irritated and annoyed then, what i actually did wrong, but at the same time, i never really care about what people think of me, because this is the internet, and no one can define who you are, because we all wear a mask here, and everyone does it. The anonymity and the safeguard, and all basic instinct goes mostly out the door, im sure you wouldn't say this irl to something, in the way you said it at least, you'd probably just get belted or king-hit or get into a fight, and the i'd say the same shit i'd do would probably get into shit and trouble too. And also, that anime girl, i think Nero is her name is or whatever doing the dab (i reversed search the image idfk) super cringe, kinda lost the real OOMF of what you had to say. If it was something more chad, i would've of really been like "bruh momentus". Speechless, still B-, some of the better ones ive seen, real, brutal and honest, and kinda fair, Think what you like of me. And lastly, now i that i look on it, i don't really care anymore if i come back or not, especially the discord, i didnt really do anything, or had anything to input in, and i mostly was stiring the pot, and starting trouble, hard to relate to, and i dont mix with alot of the people there, when im in a discord chat, i kinda realized, that i just like playing ss13, following the rules, and just doing my own thing, or play when my mates are on, and we do mining or some shit. or whatever. I was actually (even tho i'm banned) recommending alot of my mates, and Portuguese friends, to start off with AuStation (cause it aint trash with that new bullshit tg shit). So yeah, forget about the discord, and it'd be nice to come back to the SS13 server, cause i dont case trouble (not since early-mid august), which is like two months or whatever). But if you dont want me back, than fair enough. I played my last hand, and all the cards are on the table, my luck's run out, you get the gist.
